These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of services provided by Selam LLC ("Selam", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Selam LLC operates a custodial digital asset wallet and digital asset transfer service for verified account holders. The legal entity behind these services is AWASHDIRECT LLC, registered as a Money Services Business with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) under Registration Number 31000315485316 and licensed by the State of Washington as a Money Transmitter under License Number 550-MT-151553.
To create a Selam account you must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and reside in a jurisdiction in which our services are available. We may decline to open or continue an account at our discretion, including where required by law or our internal risk policies.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep that information up to date. Identity verification (KYC) is required prior to account activation. We may request additional documents at any time to comply with applicable laws and our compliance program.
When you deposit supported digital assets into a Selam wallet, Selam holds those assets on your behalf as custodian. Beneficial ownership of the assets remains with you, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Selam does not lend, rehypothecate, or use customer assets for proprietary trading.
You are responsible for the accuracy of any wallet address or transfer instruction you submit. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Network fees may apply and are paid to network validators, not Selam. Selam may delay, restrict, or reverse internal transfers where required by law or our compliance review.
Selam may charge service fees for transfers and other features. Applicable fees are disclosed prior to confirmation. Daily and monthly transfer limits depend on your verification tier.
Selam does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. Any information available through our services is general in nature and is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any digital asset.
Cryptocurrency involves risk. Digital assets may lose value, including the entire amount you transfer to your account. Network outages, forks, or other events may affect availability or value. We do not guarantee profits or investment returns.
We may suspend or close your account, restrict access, or refuse a transaction where required by law, where we suspect prohibited activity, or where you breach these Terms. Where permitted by law, we will provide notice and reasonable opportunity to retrieve eligible balances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selam will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email to your registered address. Your continued use of Selam after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and by applicable U.S. federal law.
